Corporate Accountant with CPA License
Job Summary
To support multi-branch operations, the remote Corporate Accountant with CPA License will manage the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting while integrating new acquisitions and enhancing accounting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and ad hoc financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Drive the monthly general ledger close process, including account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
- Evaluate accounting systems and procedures; recommend and implement improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase efficiency
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-branch/multi-division organization
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Avalara, Sage 100, QuickBooks, and Salesforce is a plus
