Corporate Actuary (ACAS/FCAS)
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Principal, Corporate Actuary (ACAS/FCAS) to work remotely, who will manage capital modeling, enterprise risk management, and reinsurance activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance internal capital models to inform risk appetite and financial strategy
- Conduct analysis for reinsurance structures and collaborate with brokers to assess financial impacts
- Partner with Corporate Actuarial teammates to perform monthly reserving analyses and support regulatory filings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- ACAS or FCAS designation
- 6+ years of actuarial experience in the P&C insurance sector
- Proficiency in R or Python, SQL, and GenAI tools
- Experience in capital modeling and effective communication across functional areas
