Corporate Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Vice President, Corporate Counsel, this full-time position will provide strategic legal guidance on corporate governance, contractual, data privacy, and employment matters while supporting various business units in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide actionable regulatory and legal guidance on corporate, financial, cybersecurity, data privacy, employment, and tax matters
- Draft Board resolutions and coordinate communications with the Board and shareholders
- Lead legal efforts regarding vendor contracts, including review, negotiation, and risk management coordination
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- 10-15 years of counsel experience in corporate law, preferably in the insurance/reinsurance industry
- Experience in data privacy and cybersecurity law and/or employment law is a plus
- Strong analytical acumen and the ability to deliver practical, business-minded advice
- Proven track record of collaboration, teamwork, and negotiation skills
