Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

To support a veterinary health organization, the full-time Corporate Counsel will manage commercial contracts, provide marketing legal guidance, and offer corporate and regulatory advice while working remotely on a contract basis for an initial four-month term.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate commercial procurement contracts for North American business units
• Provide legal guidance on marketing content and campaigns to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Assist with corporate structure changes, corporate filings, and regulatory advice

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in corporate counsel functions, particularly in commercial and marketing law
• Experience with corporate structures and regulatory functions in veterinary, human health, dental health, or optometry sectors
• Ability to work remotely, with preference for candidates in Portland, Los Angeles, or Tampa
• Familiarity with IP and data privacy concerns related to commercial contracts
• Experience providing support to internal procurement teams
