Corporate Counsel (Employment Law)
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Corporate Counsel (Employment Law) to provide legal guidance on employment law, litigation, and procurement contracts in a remote capacity, while supporting the Company's People team and managing potential claims and contracts with service providers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day legal advice on employment law matters and support the People team in addressing HR policies and potential claims
- Lead litigation efforts by assessing risks related to claims and civil actions, and develop settlement options
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to review and advise on contracts with service providers
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited institution and admitted to state bar in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources and employment law matters
- Experience in employment law claims or litigation
- Some experience in general commercial litigation and contract review
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple assignments effectively
