Job Summary

Leading the corporate and M&A legal function, the full-time Senior Director, Corporate Counsel - JD Required will provide strategic guidance on complex transactions, oversee corporate governance, and manage a growing legal team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the legal execution of M&A transactions from initial structuring through post-closing matters
• Serve as the primary legal partner to Corporate Development, advising on acquisitions, investments, and corporate restructurings
• Manage and develop the corporate legal team, establishing priorities and providing coaching and performance feedback

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Significant corporate and M&A experience with a track record of leading complex transactions
• Proven experience managing and developing legal professionals
• Strong business judgment and ability to advise senior executives on legal risks and transaction structures
• Experience in developing processes or systems that improve legal work quality and efficiency
