Corporate Counsel (State Licensed)
Job Summary
To support Stord's commercial contracting growth, the full-time Corporate Counsel (State Licensed) will manage sales, partnerships, and commercial relationships by reviewing, advising, and negotiating various agreements, while working remotely in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Partnerships teams to review and execute commercial contracts, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Own and refine contract playbooks and negotiation guardrails to enhance consistency and speed in the sales pipeline
- Serve as a legal point of contact for sales teams, balancing legal risk with business objectives while guiding contract negotiations
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial transactions within the ecommerce or logistics sectors
- Experience in negotiating and drafting various commercial contracts related to warehousing and logistics
- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar
- Proven ability to operate independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with legal technology, including AI-assisted contract review tools
