Job Summary
Providing broad legal support to facilitate corporate governance and strategic initiatives, the full-time Senior Corporate Counsel - State Licensed will manage legal matters including M&A support, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day legal counsel on corporate and general legal matters
- Support corporate governance, M&A activities, and regulatory filings
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience, particularly in-house
- Experience with corporate governance, M&A due diligence, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
