Job Summary
As a senior strategic leader, the full-time remote Assistant General Counsel - Corporate, Commercial & Structured Finance will manage the legal execution of capital markets and financing operations, including structured finance transactions, while overseeing corporate legal operations and a growing team of attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and execute complex debt facilities and asset-backed securitizations
- Serve as the primary legal liaison to institutional lenders and manage compliance with financial regulations
- Lead a team of attorneys, providing mentorship and developing scalable legal processes
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school with active bar membership in good standing
- 10+ years of relevant legal practice experience in structured finance and commercial lending
- Strong track record in managing structured finance transactions from inception to closing
- Solid understanding of revenue-based financing and asset-based lending frameworks
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and elevate junior attorneys
