Corporate Development Associate

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development Associate, the full-time remote position will evaluate M&A opportunities, support capital markets activities, and drive long-range financial planning through rigorous financial modeling and industry research in the telecommunications sector.

Key responsibilities

• Own the development and annual refresh of GFiber's 10-year integrated financial model, collaborating with cross-functional leaders
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
• Assist in evaluating funding strategies and executing financing activities, including debt issuances and credit facility management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience as an investment banking analyst
• 2 years of experience working with Excel, building complex, multi-year integrated financial models
• 2 years of direct exposure to debt capital market transactions and understanding of capital structure optimization
• 2 years of experience managing and interpreting large data sets to identify long-term trends and drivers
