Cost Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will oversee cost accounting processes, manage inventory transactions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on manufacturing processes and cost of sales
- Perform monthly analytics on cost of sales and maintain accuracy of product cost data
- Lead a team of accountants, delegating process improvement projects and supporting month-end close activities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of accounting experience, with 5+ years in cost accounting preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup
- Experience in a Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience managing a team
