Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Owning the costing methodology and procure-to-pay processes, the full-time remote Cost Accounting Manager will manage inventory valuation, COGS close, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and defend costing methodology, including standard cost setting and variance analysis
• Oversee landed cost processes, ensuring accurate accruals and allocations in partnership with Supply Chain
• Manage inventory valuation under US GAAP and ensure inventory integrity across multiple locations

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cost, inventory, or manufacturing accounting, preferably in hardware or medical device sectors
• Proven experience in accounts payable operations and external audit support for inventory valuation
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience in cross-system reconciliations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred
• Familiarity with NetSuite, customs and import processes, and experience in high-growth or pre-IPO environments is a plus
