Cost Estimator
Job Summary
Supporting the acquisition of Defense Health Systems for the Department of Defense (DoD), the remote Cost Estimator will assist in developing cost estimates, apply statistical techniques for cost risk analysis, and analyze historical program data while collaborating with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in developing cost estimates for Defense Health Systems acquisition activities
- Apply statistical techniques to support cost risk analysis under senior guidance
- Analyze historical program data to refine cost models and estimate future program costs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline
- 2-5 years of relevant cost estimation, financial analysis, or budget analysis experience
- Minimum of 1 year of federal work experience; DoD experience preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- General understanding of DoD contracts, budgeting, and acquisition processes
