Job Summary
Supporting a federal program management office remotely, the mid to senior-level Cost Estimator will develop and update life cycle cost estimates, conduct analyses, and present findings to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update life cycle cost estimates (LCCEs), independent government cost estimates (IGCEs), and rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates for various programs
- Conduct sensitivity and uncertainty analyses to inform investment decisions
- Present results of estimates through verbal presentations, narrative reports, and briefing charts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, management, finance, math, engineering, or a related discipline
- Relevant cost estimating certifications with ICEAA or AACE are desired
- 3-10 years of experience in cost estimating
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI
- Previous work experience with CBP or DHS is a plus
