Job Summary
To support database infrastructure, the full-time Couchbase Database Administrator will manage and optimize Couchbase database clusters remotely, ensuring high availability and performance while implementing scalable architectures and conducting performance tuning.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and support Couchbase database clusters across production and non-production environments
- Design and implement scalable Couchbase database architectures, including data modeling and capacity planning
- Perform database performance tuning, SQL++ (N1QL) query optimization, and troubleshooting of database issues
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Couchbase Database Administration
- Proficient in Couchbase upgrades, security, monitoring, and automation
- Experience with Couchbase architecture, data modeling, and high availability solutions
- Strong skills in SQL++ (N1QL), indexing, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
