CPA Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing accounting team, the full-time remote CPA Accounting Manager will manage and mentor the team in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and audit support while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and driving process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Guiding the team through month-end close processes, ensuring accurate revenue and cost recording, and preparing timely journal entries and reconciliations
- Leading the annual audit by collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Analyzing and documenting complex accounting topics, preparing financial statements, and identifying opportunities for process improvements
Required qualifications
- Active CPA license
- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- 2+ years of experience managing an accounting team
- 8+ years of accounting experience
- Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency
