CPA Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing Finance team, the remote CPA Accounting Manager will own the month-end and quarter-end close processes, evaluate and redesign workflows, and serve as the technical anchor for accounting functions while collaborating with internal teams and corporate accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own month-end and quarter-end close journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Evaluate and redesign the close process to build scalable, repeatable workflows and documentation
- Serve as the escalation point for complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition under ASC 606
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and close experience in a public company environment
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and a genuine interest in the technical aspects of accounting
- Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and build scalable solutions
