CPA Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a fast-paced environment, the fully remote Accounting Manager will manage financial close processes, oversee accounting operations for assigned markets, and lead a team of staff and senior accountants while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
Key responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes for assigned markets to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines
- Supervise, train, and evaluate staff and senior accountants, including workload assignments and performance reviews
- Review balance sheet account reconciliations and support year-end audits and financial reporting preparation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 5+ years of public accounting experience or 8+ years of private industry accounting experience, including management
- Prior experience leading teams
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SOX internal controls
