CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support revenue accounting operations in a SaaS environment, the full-time salaried CPA Accounting Manager will oversee revenue recognition compliance with ASC 606, manage a Billing Manager, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all revenue accounting activities, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and managing the revenue close process
• Manage and mentor the Billing Manager, fostering a collaborative team environment and supporting process improvements
• Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and audit requests related to revenue

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based environment
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition and experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
• People management experience and strong technical accounting skills are essential
