CPA Accounting Operations Manager

Job Summary

Owning the accounting for accruals, investments, leases, intercompany activity, and cost allocations, the full-time CPA Accounting Operations Manager will manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes while building scalable processes and collaborating with various teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and maintain intercompany and consolidation entries across multiple entities, including cost-plus arrangements and FX revaluation
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and support SOX compliance

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting, with a deep understanding of US GAAP; CPA preferred
• Experience at a public company or with IPO readiness
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and the ability to produce audit-ready workpapers
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting
• Proficiency with NetSuite and close management platforms is a plus
