CPA Assistant Controller
Job Summary
To support a growing accounting team, the full-time salaried Assistant Controller (CPA) will manage financial operations, oversee month-end close processes, and lead system transformations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close routines to ensure accurate financial statements and reconciliations
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and oversee SEC filings prepared by the Financial Reporting team
- Manage and mentor a fully remote accounting team, establishing performance goals to foster continuous development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and public company environments
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 compliance
- Proven track record of managing and developing remote accounting professionals
