CPA Controller
Job Summary
To support rapid growth, the full-time remote Controller will manage the entire accounting function, ensuring GAAP compliance, overseeing financial close processes, and implementing scalable systems for a global workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, driving efficiency and automation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, focusing on revenue recognition for complex enterprise contracts
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, billing, and collections, including contractor payments and payroll
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably as an Assistant Controller or accounting lead in a high-growth environment
- CPA strongly preferred, with expertise in GAAP and ASC 606 for enterprise revenue
- Experience with international operations, including global payroll and contractor payments
- Proven ability to build processes and systems from the ground up
- Strong communication skills to convey accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders
