CPA Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the remote Controller will lead the accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting while overseeing monthly close processes and establishing scalable accounting policies and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial statement preparation and account reconciliations
• Provide technical accounting leadership and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• CPA required
• 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leading a corporate accounting function
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with complex technical accounting matters
• Significant accounting experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
