CPA Controller

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Controller, the remote position will manage financial reporting, technical accounting, and process improvement while leading a team in a growing organization focused on capital-intensive operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Guide accounting treatment for complex transactions, including revenue recognition and intercompany activity
• Improve accounting systems and workflows through standardization and automation, while developing internal controls and policies

Required qualifications:

• Active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including roles such as Controller or Assistant Controller
• Experience in capital-intensive industries such as construction, telecommunications, or energy
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP and experience managing complex accounting activities
• Proven ability to establish and strengthen accounting policies and internal controls
