CPA Controller

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time remote CPA Controller will own the accounting ecosystem, manage a dedicated team, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while partnering with various departments to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and annual close processes, delivering accurate financial statements and maintaining audit readiness
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and GAAP while overseeing internal controls and audit processes
• Serve as the internal technical expert for Unanet, leading process improvements and adopting automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Active CPA license
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 4 years in a GovCon environment
• Deep working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, GAAP, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
• Proven experience navigating DCAA audits as the responsible party
