CPA Corporate Controller

Job Summary

Leading the organization's accounting operations, the full-time salaried CPA Corporate Controller will ensure a complete and timely financial close, enforce accounting policies, and manage relationships with external audit firms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Direct the planning and execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, delivering reconciled financial information for internal and external statements
• Develop and enforce financial policies to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Oversee the management of accounts receivable and disbursements, including accounts payable and payroll processing, while ensuring adherence to financial controls

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; MS or MBA preferred
• CPA preferred
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in industry or public accounting, including managing remote teams
• Exceptional accounting and analytical skills with a proven ability to mentor accounting professionals
• Demonstrable experience utilizing technology, particularly with NetSuite, to achieve financial close goals
