CPA Director of Financial Analysis
Job Summary
Leading complex accounting and financial projects, the full-time salaried CPA Director of Financial Analysis will oversee the implementation of accounting software, manage long-term incentive plan calculations, and support the creation of new insurance subsidiaries in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting and financial software, including user testing and training
- Review and manage long-term incentive plan accruals and compliance with external CPA firms
- Lead the annual contingent commission process and coordinate with various departments for accurate financial reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a CPA license
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in property and casualty insurance accounting
- Knowledge of statutory and GAAP accounting principles
- Experience with non-qualified and deferred compensation plans
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
