CPA Director of Financial Reporting

Job Summary

Leading financial reporting and accounting policy initiatives, the full-time remote CPA Director of Financial Reporting will manage US GAAP and SEC reporting, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial statements while collaborating with various departments across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings and US GAAP financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and provide implementation guidance to ensure consistent application of US GAAP and SEC requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors and enhance internal controls over financial reporting to improve accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and CPA; Master's or MBA preferred
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, with significant public accounting experience
• 5 years of management experience leading high-performing teams
• Demonstrated experience with SEC filings and US GAAP financial statement preparation or review
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting systems like Workiva and NetSuite
