CPA Director of SEC Reporting

Job Summary

Leading the external reporting and technical accounting functions, the remote Director of SEC Reporting will manage compliance with SEC regulations, oversee financial reporting processes, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance revenue growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of external reporting and technical accounting, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules
• Develop and implement strategies for revenue generation and profit growth across multiple media platforms
• Recruit, train, and lead sales teams to exceed revenue targets while maintaining strong client relationships

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and SEC reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an active CPA license
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations (Regulation S-X and S-K)
• Experience in supervising and developing staff, with a preference for month-end close experience
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with reporting software like Workiva
