CPA E-commerce Accountant

Job Summary

To support a high-growth startup focused on women's health, the full-time remote CPA E-commerce Accountant will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and handle e-commerce financial operations using QuickBooks Online and Shopify.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions while coordinating with the international accounting team on inventory management
• Prepare and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements, conducting monthly and year-end closings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations, particularly with Shopify
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience in e-commerce bookkeeping
• Experience in Transfer Pricing and Consolidation
• Demonstrated ability to manage the invoicing process and perform financial analysis
