CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and oversee financial reconciliation and reporting for e-commerce operations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions while coordinating with the international accounting team on inventory management
- Prepare and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements and conduct monthly and year-end closings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience in e-commerce bookkeeping
- Experience with transfer pricing and consolidation
- Ability to manage the invoicing process effectively
