CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and handle day-to-day accounting tasks while collaborating with the international accounting team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and daily accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateway transactions, and inventory, while preparing timely US GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Conduct monthly and year-end closings, perform financial analysis, and manage the invoicing process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and e-commerce bookkeeping
- Experience in Transfer Pricing and Consolidation
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
