CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
To support financial operations at a high-growth startup, the full-time remote CPA E-commerce Accountant will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and handle e-commerce financial operations using QuickBooks Online and Shopify.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining the general ledger and recording journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions, and prepare timely US GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Coordinate with the international accounting team on inventory management and conduct monthly and year-end closings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience in e-commerce bookkeeping and transfer pricing
- Ability to manage the invoicing process and perform financial analysis
