CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
To support a high-growth startup focused on women's health, the full-time remote CPA E-commerce Accountant will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and oversee e-commerce financial operations using QuickBooks Online and Shopify.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions, and prepare US GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Coordinate with the international accounting team on inventory management and conduct monthly and year-end closings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
- Experience with QuickBooks and e-commerce bookkeeping
- Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and Consolidation
- Experience managing the invoicing process
