CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and oversee financial reconciliation and reporting, particularly within QuickBooks Online and e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateway transactions, and inventory while coordinating with the international accounting team
- Prepare and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements, conducting monthly and year-end closings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations, particularly with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience in e-commerce bookkeeping and transfer pricing
- Ability to manage the invoicing process effectively
