CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant to join a remote full-time position, responsible for managing monthly financial closings, providing US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and overseeing e-commerce financial operations using QuickBooks Online and Shopify.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions, and coordinate with the international accounting team on inventory management
- Prepare and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements, conducting monthly and year-end closings for accurate reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations, particularly with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience in e-commerce bookkeeping
- Experience in Transfer Pricing and Consolidation
- Ability to manage the invoicing process and perform financial analysis on variances
