CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant, this full-time remote position will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and oversee financial reconciliation and reporting for a high-growth startup focused on women's health.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateway transactions, and inventory while coordinating with the international accounting team
- Prepare and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements, conduct monthly and year-end closings, and perform financial analysis on variances
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and e-commerce bookkeeping
- Experience in Transfer Pricing and Consolidation
- Demonstrated ability to manage the invoicing process and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
