CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote CPA E-commerce Accountant, the ideal candidate will manage monthly financial closings, ensure US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and perform financial reconciliation and reporting using QuickBooks Online and e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions, and prepare US GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Coordinate with the international accounting team on inventory management and conduct monthly and year-end closings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience in e-commerce bookkeeping
- Experience in transfer pricing and consolidation
- Ability to manage the invoicing process effectively
