CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage monthly financial closings, perform bookkeeping, and ensure US GAAP-compliant financial reporting while collaborating with the international accounting team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions, and prepare timely US GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Conduct monthly and year-end closings, and manage sales tax reporting and invoicing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations, particularly with Shopify
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and e-commerce bookkeeping
- Experience in transfer pricing and consolidation
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
