CPA E-commerce Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage monthly financial closings, maintain US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and oversee financial reconciliation and reporting for a high-growth startup focused on women's health.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining the general ledger and recording journal entries
• Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions while coordinating with the international accounting team on inventory management
• Prepare, review, and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements, conducting monthly and year-end closings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience in e-commerce bookkeeping
• Experience with Transfer Pricing and Consolidation
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
