CPA E-commerce Accountant
Job Summary
Seeking a CPA E-commerce Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage monthly financial closings, provide US GAAP-compliant bookkeeping, and handle day-to-day accounting tasks, specifically in an e-commerce environment using QuickBooks Online and Shopify.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger management
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway transactions, while coordinating with the international accounting team on inventory management
- Prepare and deliver US GAAP-compliant financial statements and conduct monthly and year-end closings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce financial operations with Shopify
- Proficient in QuickBooks and e-commerce bookkeeping
- Experience in transfer pricing and consolidation
- Ability to manage the invoicing process effectively
