CPA Financial Controller

Job Summary

Overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting, the full-time remote CPA Financial Controller will manage month-end close processes, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, and support organizational growth through financial insights and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and coordinate annual financial statement audits
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements and oversee tax compliance processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation strongly preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong experience with financial reporting, external audits, and regulatory compliance
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
