CPA Financial Reporting Manager
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and motivated, the full-time Financial Reporting Manager will support the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports, focusing on U.S. GAAP compliance and financial reporting processes, with the option to work remotely or from the Herndon, VA location.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting packages, including Balance Sheets and Statements of Operations
- Assist in drafting quarterly and annual footnote disclosures and Management's Discussion & Analysis (MD&A)
- Coordinate and address comments from legal, finance, management, and external auditors throughout SEC filing cycles
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Currently active CPA license
- A minimum of five years of experience in public company audit, financial reporting, and/or technical accounting
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Experience with Workiva
