CPA Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing financial reporting group, the full-time GAAP and SEC Financial Reporting Specialist in Investment Management will review and prepare fund financial statements, manage client reporting cycles, and ensure compliance with SEC filings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review staff-prepared fund financial statements and coordinate the drafting of notes for annual and semiannual shareholder reports
• Assist in managing day-to-day operations and deadlines for clients to ensure timely deliverables
• Act as a technical resource for staff regarding financial statement preparation and new investment/derivative products

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Recent experience in a financial reporting group within asset management or financial services
• Detailed knowledge of financial statements and experience in reviewing them
