CPA Fund Accounting Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the accounting, valuation, and reporting functions for over 27,000 funds, the fully remote Fund Accounting Senior Associate will evaluate portfolio company events, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with GAAP while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate portfolio company events and determine appropriate valuation actions for investments
• Prepare audited and unaudited financial statements and collaborate with audit firms for annual audits
• Maintain the investment tracking system and work towards increased automation and process improvement

Required qualifications

• 3 - 4+ years of experience in Fund Administration and Public Accounting, with a CPA license strongly preferred
• Mastery of core financial concepts and a strong interest in venture finance
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with portfolio companies and lead investors
• Willingness to engage in hands-on work to ensure data accuracy
