CPA Fund Accounting Senior Manager
Job Summary
Overseeing the accounting, valuation, and reporting functions for over 27,000 funds, the fully remote CPA Fund Accounting Senior Manager will manage financial reporting deliverables, resolve exceptions, and address investor inquiries while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee key team processes to ensure accurate accounting and reporting for investment companies
- Interact with external auditors to ensure timely completion of fund audits
- Coach and oversee a team of managers and/or senior accountants
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in investment company accounting with a strong academic track record and CPA license (strongly preferred)
- Experience at a public accounting firm or as a fund administrator/investment advisor in a fund accounting role
- Proficiency in US GAAP, particularly ASC 946 and ASC 820
- Extensive experience in financial statement creation for investment companies/funds
- Experience in preparing materials for and coordinating with external auditors
