CPA Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing software and financial services practice, the full-time temporary CPA Licensed Accountant will manage accounting tasks including transaction recording, account reconciliation, and financial reporting while working remotely and adhering to PST hours.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize valuable accounting workflows and translate customer needs into practical use cases
• Verify completed accounting outcomes and ensure records reconcile accurately while diagnosing errors and guiding improvements
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define accounting correctness and establish appropriate controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• 5+ years of substantial hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO), including transaction recording and financial report interpretation
• Strong analytical skills with experience in user acceptance testing and familiarity with AI evaluation
