CPA Licensed Accounting Director

Job Summary

Owning day-to-day accounting and treasury operations, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Accounting Director will manage the month-end close, financial consolidations, and annual audits while leading a small, high-performing accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis
• Oversee monthly consolidation across a multi-entity structure, ensuring GAAP compliance and clean intercompany eliminations
• Direct the annual financial statement audit, acting as the primary external liaison and managing the audit lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Active CPA and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial consolidation, and GAAP compliance in a multi-entity organization
• Experience leading external financial statement audits, including PBC management
• Proficiency with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP, along with advanced Excel skills
