Job Summary
Leading the Breakage Operations function, the remote CPA Licensed Accounting Director will manage accounting systems, ensure compliance with GAAP, and oversee financial reporting related to prepaid card and deposit products.
Key responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with financial transaction recording standards and performs control/reconciliation of accounts
- Prepares accounting reports for internal and external audiences, including financial statement consolidation and budget reporting
- Develops and enforces accounting policies in accordance with GAAP and participates in annual audits and special projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- CPA preferred
- Typically 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in managing accounting for prepaid card and deposit products
- Proven ability to lead and coach a team
