CPA Licensed Accounting Operations Executive

Job Summary

Leading the accounting operations for a large health care organization, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Accounting Operations Executive will develop and implement strategic accounting policies, oversee financial reporting and compliance, and manage a high-performing team while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives
• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reports
• Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 7 years in a management or executive leadership role
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday
• Strong knowledge of health care regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA
